Project Description
The scope of work for this design assist project encompassed the renovation of all interior hallways and bathrooms in the owner occupied 85,200 sq. ft. headquarters for the Alaska District Army Corps of Engineers on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson. The projects goals focus on upgrading the bathrooms and hallways while phasing construction to create as little disturbance to USACE employees throughout the construction process. Lightning and wiring will be upgraded to high efficiency LED fixtures in halls, stairs, and bathrooms. The new restrooms are to include ADA accessibility compliant water closets, lavatories, locker, and shower facilities according to IPC Code 2015. Scopes of work include, roofing, framing, plumbing, heating and air, electrical, drywall, painting, and flooring.
